on our faces

white orbs splashing into red

cups, knuckles are bumped

and high fives given

music notes

dancing from the ceiling

and feet in sync

with the rhythm

Whiskers relaxed

from warmth and compassion

by guests on the couch

laughter filling

the room as minds are corroded

from ciders and beer

the hands on the scarlet

and gray clock

filtering

visitors out the door.
